[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Fire-tribe Camp ]

After having spent the whole day running around the camp, exploring most of it although most of her stops were purely for sightseeing rather than an actual exploration (that would be for later, though; she enjoyed knowing the overall area first before setting down into the details). Perhaps she had been too tired to notice when or why her necklace fell, maybe the excitement made her forget about it's existence. Whatever the reason, she only realized it was gone the day after, the moment she rolled off her back and pawed her chest into a more comfortable position. "Huh...? Where...?"

Viciss quickly sat up before twisting over to see if her necklace was around somewhere. Nothing. Feeling the panic starting to well up inside of her, she rushed out of the apprentice's den; she may have rolled or stepped on certain other tribe-mates, but her mind was solely focused on the necklace. It was a nicely polished stone, a precious memento of her accomplishment of sneaking away without being caught... I couldn't have just /lost/ it somewhere....

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Fire-tribe Camp ]

Kronk shook the soot out of his fur, he had just been back from his trip to Ember hills and his dark, charcoal colored fur was now covered in ash, making him darker than he was. The day before, he had found a little stone attached to a string, it looked nice and he figured he could use it to make something better of it. For now it was safely around his neck, the string tucked in his fur and the little round stone just faintly visible against his gray chest.

The young tom, still fashioning his blue tattoo was nearly a year old, in a week or two he would be 12 moons and his blue would soon mix with green. He was huge for his age though, much bigger than the average adolescence that’s for sure and he would grow bigger still. He was heading back to the apprentice den to clean up, shaking out once more before he would enter, feeling a small cat bump into him as she rushed out and he hissed after her, ”Watch it!” he huffed, glaring at the black/gray she-cat. There were so many new arrivals… the apprentice den sure felt a little more crowded now.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Fire-tribe Camp ]

she wasn't exactly small, barely holding onto the 6 moons but bearing the appearance of a much older cat (though still smaller than any apprentice), only the fact that she was a new face gave her away. Viciss jumped before halting, turning around to answer the older. More to hiss back at his glare.

The Pink-Fire opened her mouth to apologize, but no sound came, no stutter nor whisper. Her green eyes scanned him from head to paws. She didn't really find it appealing the way he was glaring, but she wasn't going to complain about just yet. However, the reason her words got cut off was simply because her line of vision quickly focused on his chest and the familiar piece of wood that waited there.

"Where did you find it?" she asked in a somewhat trance state. "Why do you have it?! That's my necklace!!" There wasn't a mistake, she could recognize it anywhere and she had never seen a duplicate of it. It had to be her's.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Fire-tribe Camp ]

Kronk could only recognize the young she-cat as a new apprentice, knowing she came from Light-Tribe… she smelt like it, like the ones he met time and time again. Who were her parents? He couldn’t care less, but her pelt reminded him of the Black leader. Looking at her again, she was a little bigger than half his size, may be smaller… he realized he was growing quickly, Inky seemed smaller when she slept against him now.

He huffed at her hiss. It was cute to think this tiny apprentice could take him, he could crush her under his weight without even trying. He was about to flick his tail at her and head back inside when she turned to him and spoke loudly, making his ears press against his spiky head. ”What are you talking about?” he asked irritably. He almost forgot he was wearing the necklace.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Fire-tribe Camp ]

The younger could only stare at the other and, with every moment that passed, she convinced herself that the other had stolen the necklace from her, though he could have found it. She wasn't sure.

She took a step closer and looked up at him. "This necklace! Where did you find it? Are you deaf?" she demanded to know, convince herself that it was an accident. If it needed to get to other measures, she was confident about her abilities.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Fire-tribe Camp ]

The older tom’s ginger ear twitched, indicating he could hear her of course. Kronk could only roll his eyes, ”Yeah I found it conveniently laid on the ground,” he mewed as he turned and flicked his massive tail against the black she-cat’s face. He padded inside the apprentice den and went over to his nest to clean up, not waiting to hear what the little one had to say to him about the necklace he found. It was a nice piece and after all, finders keepers right?

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Fire-tribe Camp ]

Viciss could only stare dumbfounded. She definitely didn't like the other cat. Not in the least. Even after getting hit by the other, she only stood there staring at his back. Not wanting to wait any longer, she rushed after the older, crawling over his nest as well.

With swift movements, the pink-fire got on his way and clawed at his chest. Asking for it nicely wasn't much of an option anymore. Ripping the string, the piece of wood fell down and she took it to flee with.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Fire-tribe Camp ]

It all happened pretty quickly, there wasn’t much time to react to the little theif. Its what this Fire-Cat thought she was after all. ”Hey!” he hissed as he twisted his head to glare after the she-cat. And without a moment’s waste, he bolted after her! His heavy paws thumping the ground loudly after the sneaky apprentice. ”I found that stone, its mine! Give it back!” he growled, picking up the pace to jump on the small she-cat.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Fire-tribe Camp ]

She grinned, the necklace was back with her and it was held securely between her jaws. She glanced back, hearing the other’s pawsteps get closer, only to see his figure about to land on her-

The Pink-Fire quickly halted and ducked. If she was lucky, she would be only hit by his tail.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Fire-tribe Camp ]

Kronk’s eyes narrowed, he wasn’t an idiot, as soon as she stopped and ducked, he landed right on stop of her, landing a paw squarely on her hand and pushing her down to the ground. In this open space, it was easy to catch up the small apprentice. ”Thought you’d get away little thief?” he growled, reaching for the string of the stone that was secured in the she-cat’s jaws and he pulled on it with his teeth, ”Give it back!” his throat rumbled as he pulled on the strings of the necklace.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Fire-tribe Camp ]

Viciss glared at the other and hissed through gritted teeth, " I won't! It belongs to me and I have no reason to give it back to you! " The smaller one tried to pull the necklace back her way but, being obviously won over by the older's strength, she pulled her paw off from under the other’s and tackled him, accidentally letting go in the process.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Fire-tribe Camp > Neutral Lands ]

Kronk felt the smaller cat let the stone go and now it was hanging from the string attached to his jaws, but it wasn’t over as Viciss caught him off guard and tackled him. They rolled for a moment and he pinned her down once more. ”If you want it, come and get it!” he bolted away like the wind and headed for the entrance of camp, on the way out though. He decided he would lead her to Pheasant woods and loose her in the thick forest there. The necklace firmly in his possession now.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Fire-tribe Camp - Pheasant Woods ]

Being pinned to the ground wasn't taken in a playful manner, definitely wasn't. She pawed at his chest, her own way of trying to push him off, but that was a technique that didn't work with anyone bigger than her, so it seemed. "If I want it!? It's mine!," she stomped the ground once she rolled back to her paws, only to dash after him. She managed to relatively keep up with his pace, she wasn't exactly close but the Blue-fire was clearly in his view still. She didn't look back when leaving the Fire-Tribe Camp, she was no longer the kit in need of her mother's approval, (not like she always waited for a yes or no anyways).

However, it was getting harder for her to keep up; her pace gradually slowing down once they entered the forest until she eventually stopped running. She looked around, turning around after a couple steps to look behind herself. Viciss then flopped to the ground, burying her face under her paws in frustration. Why, why, why!? She got up and started looking for the other Fire-Triber, letting out a loud scream as a bird suddenly landed on her back. She wasn't expecting that!

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Pheasant Woods ]

Kronk stopped once he was deep enough in the forest, this place was his domain, he spent so much time in here, it was his second home. It just reminded him from where he was born and lived as a kit. He had his own special paths of getting through here, so he would always know exactly where he was. The young tom looked back, ears perked. Good, lost her! he thought with a smug look. He was about to continue forward until he heard the she-cat’s scream! He reacted quickly, dropping the necklace where he stood and doubled back to see what happened, leaving the necklace behind.

He hoped she didn’t get caught up with the element creatures that lived in this forest, one of them being the Torch Buck he saw not long ago. He climbed a tree, like a squirrel to the lowest branch, and started to jump from branch to branch until he reached the area of the scream. He looked around for the younger apprentice… he spots her, ”Are you trying to attract every predator here?” he mewed, seeing she wasn’t in danger.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Pheasant Woods ]

Ears perking up at the sound of words, the darker furred cat looked upwards. She wasn't really expecting to see /him/ there. She narrowed her eyes. " Of course not! Only an idiot will try to get the predators here! " she huffed, stomping the ground.

As if on cue, the ground seemed to rumble slightly, the trees trembling lightly to maintain balance. Viciss blinked and looked to the ground behind her, there was no way she made that. Behind her, a bunch of fire-rats appeared and quickly disappeared. She slowly looked back to see a much bigger animal running towards them.

She froze in place as the torch buck ran closer.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Pheasant Woods ]

Kronk’s nose flared with annoyance, was this cat--no, kit not listen to him? She was just asking for trouble, the tribes weren’t as safe as they once was before the territories seemed to roam with strange creatures with powers like themselves. And like he figured, trouble came.

”See what happens when you don’t use your brain?” he mewed, watching the Ember Rats disappear into the foliage, it would spark a flame here and there but disappear like his eyes would be playing tricks on him. He then spotted the Torch Buck… was it the same one as before? Was there a whole group? Such as his tribe? He didn’t know but it seemed to be chasing the Ember Rodents. Not his problem… until he saw the young apprentice was just… standing there. He narrowed his eyes as he watched, ’What the hell does she think she’s doing?’ he thought… The buck was getting closer. ”You better run up a tree Pink-Fire!” he called out to her, watching. If the Pink apprentice didn’t move, he would leap down there to snap her out of her trance.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Pheasant Woods ]

The sound came closer and closer, her body wouldn't move entirely. Forcing her paws to move, she started to run in the same direction as the bigger animal. She tried to jump up a tree, but with the rush of emotions going inside her head, she couldn't hold on properly and slid back from the tree trunk to the roots underneath. She pushed back against the tree, but the buck came closer. Was it trying to catch her? Cats wouldn't make a good meal, right?

"BLUE-FIRE!" she yelled for help, closing her eyes tightly.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Pheasant Woods ]

Kronk watched closely as the Pink-Fire started to panic and run towards a tree, he could already feel like this wouldn’t end well… for one thing, she was running towards the buck. He leaped from branch to branch to get close to the action. And just when the younger apprentice cried out for help, he jumped from the branch, landing near her and running close to snatch her up by the scruff and drag her up the tree, gripping it hard as he scramble his way up. Speaking through the fur secured in his mouth, his throat rumbled, ”Start climbing already! You’re not a kit to be frozen like this,” he hoped the Torch Buck wasn’t actually after them.. perhaps he looking over this territory and was making sure others don’t trespass.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Pheasant Woods ]

Viciss wasn't even sure of what was going on anymore, one second she couldn't move and then the next there was a tree in front of her. She clawed the plant until she got a better grip on it before climbing up to the nearest branch.

Her breathing was heavy, dizziness aiming for her head. ”What... what was that?!” she exclaimed once she managed to calm down a bit. Green eyes glanced towards the blue-fire and, with head down and ears back, she muttered; "Thank you... and I'm sorry... " a soft sob escaped her between mews.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Pheasant Woods ]

Kronk climbed up after her, nosing her a bit farther along the branch so he could perch there next to her. He watched at the Touch Buck stopped, looking up at them then moved along, seeming to race after the Ember Rats who passed by only moments before, at least, it was heading in that direction. His ginger ear twitched and he looked over to the small, trembling black kit that was Viciss. ”Its one of the elemental animals that live in these woods, apparently there are a bunch or others,” he just shrugged, ”Leave them alone and they should leave you alone too,” he added with a huff, wrapping his big tail around the black apprentice.

”Its fine I guess,” he mewed, lowering his head to lick between Viciss’s ears in comfort. He supposed he was being a little childish for trying to keep that necklace. ...and come to think of it, he dropped it a while back. ”Is that necklace that important to you?”

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Pheasant Woods ]

Surprisingly, Viciss found comfort in the actions of the tom she had been disliking until a couple moments ago. She found herself scooting closer although she kept her head slightly lowered still. "It's alright I guess... I found it back when I was a kit, the first time I wandered off camp by myself," Viciss chuckled before looking up at the tom. If it was lost then there was no use, perhaps another kit would find it when they decided to go exploring the forest. She ad forgotten all about the necklace even, had it not been for the other, she would have only remembered it at night probably.

"I'm Viciss" she mewed with a small grin once she realized she knew not the tom's name.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Pheasant Woods ]

Kronk knew where it was probably, he only ever takes paths he’s familiar with even when he knew this forest from top to bottom. He listened to her, remembering he would wander off with Inky all the time when they were kits, he found a lot of things too… perhaps he should have brought something back… oh well. ”Hm…” he paused for a moment… should he give her his true name… ”Kronk, but call me Shade,” he mewed. One can never be too careful right?

“Come on, I think its safe now,” the older tom mewed, making his way down the tree and waiting for Viciss there as he perked his ears to listen. Birds were singing again which was good news. It meant there was no danger.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Pheasant Woods ]

Viciss grinned to herself for a moment before sliding down the trunk after Kronk. Feeling slightly left behind, the she-cat hopped her way after him. Viciss began walking normally for a moment, though it wasn't long before she lowered herself to the ground. She looked around, her ears and tail both perked towards the sky.

She forgot to warn Kronk before she wandered off the trail he was making, a shining rock had caught her attention and she went after it. It was a pretty common rock; completely black like charcoal but still glistening as if it was wet. She poked it with her nose before picking it up and walking back only to find that Kronk wasn't there anymore.

She mewed to see if he would respond. She was back on the same path they were originally following. When she finally spotted him, she dashed towards him before tackling him, jumping onto his back with a childish laugh muffled by the rock in her jaws. "I found you!"

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Pheasant Woods ]

Seeing the smaller cat coming down, Kronk made his way along his chosen path, it wasn’t like a normal path, it just looked like the forest with bushes and stuff but his own scent lingered there with a mix of his sister’s and berries. He did notice Viciss wasn’t behind him but he figured she would find him or maybe she decided to leave.

He did kept his nose to the ground and his eyes sharp. The sun was still up so it meant he would see a gleam if the sun bounced off the necklace. And like he thought, he found it soon after. Nosing the chain into his head and around his neck. ”Good, now to find that apprentice,” he mewed softly to himself, in time to hear a soft mew. Was that Viciss?

The smokey tom was about to turn and head back when a small black cat jumped him! He just blinked, Inky surprised him on a daily basis as kits, so he was used to anyone jump scaring him. He did let out a smirk of amusement though. ”You did,” he mewed, shaking her off him. Once she was off, he would return her necklace to her, putting it back on her neck. ”You can have it back,”

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Pheasant Woods ]

Shaken off, stone rolling off; she landed on all paws and had only just managed to calm down her own giggles when she felt the familiar chain around her neck. Looking down curiously, her expression suddenly turned into a huge grin. "IT'S BACK- SHADE IT'S BACK" she repeated with excitement. She let out some small laughs before she hopped closer to the tom and, while rubbing her face against his fur, she purred loudly.

As if realizing something suddenly, Viciss turned around and picked up the shiny stone. "Look! I found this and it shines when the sun hits the right spot!" the Pink-Fire sat down and pushed it towards him with the tip of her nose.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Pheasant Woods ]

Shade sat back and smiled at her excitement, he knew he would be mad if someone just took his items if they found it when it was rightfully his. Oh well, it was better off with the original owner, even if she just found it herself. It could have been thrown away. Somehow, she reminded him of Inky, always excited and happy, except much much MUCH less crazy than his sister. But happy all the same.

”Hm?” The smokey tom looked down at the black rock, it resembled a type of coal he noticed, but much harder. He rolled the stone with a paw and pushed it towards a light stream, the stone then shined. ”Ohhh… that’s a nice find Vincy,” did he developed a nickname calling like his sister? Not really, Viciss was a little hard on a tongue so he simplified it. He patted her on the head with his huge paw and grinned.

[ Pink-Fire ║ Viciss ║ Pheasant Woods ]

Viciss couldn't help but to grin widely. "Maybe one of the blacksmith can shape it up and then it can be an accessory! It would make a pretty necklace or bracelet or maybe it can be used to light up dark spaces or maybe.. " the pink-fire slowly lowered her tone into mumbles as she figured it was probably boring to hear her give out her ideas for it, still, she made sure not to divulge why she would like to turn it into something useful. She did end up staring up at him by the time she was done, tilting her head to the side a bit. "Let's go! I can't wait! " she got up and took the stone in her mouth before heading back to the Fire-Tribe Camp, her tail swaying from side to side the whole trip back.

[ Blue-Fire | Kronk | Pheasant Woods ]

Shade let out a huff, ”Oh yeah, one of the smiths pft,” She probably didn’t know he was one of those so called, smiths! Well~ he wouldn’t tell her now, maybe next time? He was pretty busy as it was anyways. ”Right behind you Vincy, go on,” he smiled a bit and followed after the little black cat, back home.
