Phoebe sighed as she faced the den's wall. Her eyes were dulled and she was curled up in a ball, her face towards the wall while her back was given to anyone behind her. It had been a good couple days now.. that she hadn't moved. Even after the tattoos had vanished from their face, Phoebe still hadn't move. She would get up and go for the dirt place, any other time, she'd spend it in her den, sulking. Damon and Kronk had to bring in food for her.. just so she wouldn't starve. She had yet to tell anyone how she felt.. why she was so.. sad. Actually, the only one that knew was her brother. She sighed again, pressing her head against the wall, her eyes closed.

It was odd… so odd. Chocola was thinking everytime he passed the apprentice dens and he spotted the usually cheery Inky, just wasting away in there. Even Kronk, his partner wouldn’t say a thing to him! Days passed and he found himself walking by the den, seeing the she-cat. At times returning from dirtplace, others, Kronk or Damon bringing what little food they had caught for her. It wasn’t good for a cat to not do any work but now that Kronk had nothing better to do, he picked up Ink’s shifts as well. Eventually he was sick of it! Why wasn’t anyone making her do anything!? He passed by the den again and pouted… while Ink moped around, he had to go out and hunt! Ugh! And his tattoo wasn’t even there anymore.. if it wasn’t for Kronk, he would have left by now… he shook his head, holding down a small growl before he took a deep breath, calmed down and padded in slowly. “Inky..?” his voice was soft and sounding a bit worried. “You alright?”

Her ears didn't move, she didn't move. She was only concentrated on the wall, her eyes slowly opening as she fixed the dirt that enclosed her. Her sight was blurry, tears welled up in them.. until a family voice echoed again. Though, she was only able to catch the last of his words. 'You alright?' She blinked, lifting her head up. She wondered if it was addressed to her. Was someone really concerned? Why did they think that she'd open to them.. if she still hadn't even told anyone else but her brother, though she did pleaded her brother not to tell a soul and to act bewildered by her condition. So.. who was this? She frowned a little, turning her head slightly as she stared at whoever it was from the corner of her lidded eyes. "Sorry.. I can leave if you need the den.. though, for what? Not like we can do much anyway.." she just huffed as she turned away again, hitting her head back into position; pressed against the dirt wall as her eyes closed again.

Chocola blinked… its been days and she was still moping… Kronk talked a lot about his sister too but he had been tight lipped since she came back like this… He KNEW the Smith apprentice knew… but he pretended not to know until Kronk finally told him to just drop it. He sort of hated not knowing. So he thought… been thinking. Ink was usually happy, and forgiving… and crazy. Everything she’s not right now. Was it love? Lost of a friend… hm, it had to be along those lines, he just needed to know which. He took a deep breath, then padded over to the dirt nest, lacking of any clean moss or fresh sand…he shook his head. “I don’t need the den, its me Inky, Chocola, I came to see if you were okay… everyone’s worried about you,” he mewed as he settled down next to her to groom her shoulders.

'Everyone?' She blinked open her eyes, though they remained lidded. She listened to him quietly, only breathing as he stopped by her side and began to groom her shoulders. Her fur was quite long and silky.. way longer than he could remember. Indeed, she was growing up, and so was her body. If it hadn't been for the tattoos to have gone.. she would've been an Orange right about now. Only the right side of her frame was blessed, graced with long silky looking hair, beautifully displayed on the dirt, curling on the ground, dripping down her pale coat. She was truly beautiful, perhaps was she reached her mother's level? Mm. Well, if she was more of a lady, she would probably match her mother's beauty with elegance and femininity. But her crazy side made her look less graceful. Was she really to blame though? Odd enough, the left side of the she-cat remained the same. Short, soft.. not really holding the grace from her right side. It almost seemed like her fur had forgotten to grow there. Nevertheless, as the tom joined her side, the she-cat turned to look at him, her eyes clouded. "You shouldn't worry.. I mean, I'm here. I'm safe and my paw is doing better. I don't limp anymore.. I'm where you can see me. Then why is everyone so.. worried?" She mewed softly.

Chocola only noticed the longer fur once he had settled down to groom her… heck… wait! One… one side was longer..? He wasn’t sure since she was laid but even in the dim light, she grew more beautiful despite moping around. He made no comment for her fur, it wasn’t the right time, he just continued. “They are worried because you’re not yourself… you’re sad…” he mewed softly, his fluffy tail wrapped around her lower half and over her hips. “You’ve not even moved from here or played in the snow… they are worried because they can’t do anything to cheer you up…” he rasped his tongue up her cheek. “I’m worried too you know, what happened to you to break your spirit like this..?” he asked softly.

Normally, she'd be vibrating from their proximity and his warm, affectionate gestures. Yea.. if only she wasn't sad. She smiled weakly, blinking up at him as he spoke, his voice soft.. gentle. "I guess you're right. I'm not being my usual self, eh?" she closed her eyes, enjoying his licks. Then, after a moment of silence, she looked back up at him, her eyes glistening sadly. "Sorry.. for making everyone so worried. I'll try and cheer tomorrow, promise," she mewed, nodding. Heh, unfortunately for her, she hadn't remembered that she'd been giving that 'promise' to a lot of kitties every since she had returned, even to her brother. It was always the same. They'd come in to try and cheer her up and she'd reply, with a weak smile, 'I'll try again tomorrow' and the next day, the very same thing would unroll. She was stuck in a loophole.. to constantly be repeated the same things every single days. Perhaps it was her own way to avoid.. remembering the pain. She looked away, her eyes back at the wall.

Chocola sighed… her brother might kill him for this, but Kronk was out hunting for Phoebe’s shift again, the big tom was constantly in and out, spending what little time he had here with Inky. “You’ve been saying that everyday Inky, to anyone who tries to comfort you.. come on!” he pushed his head under her belly and tried to get her to her paws. “Your paw was healed long ago, I’m taking you out! Come on, up you go!” He grunted as he forced he she-cat up.

"Wh-what lake?" she blinked, forced outside this time. She didn't fight back, she didn't had the strength to.. So she obediently followed his directives, holding back just a little as she reached the entrance. The outside.. no.. it reminded her of too much pain. She recoiled-- bit was pushed out, gently thought. Still, her heart began to beat as fast as drums. Why was he insisting so much? She frowned. "Just tell me which lake.." she murmured softly, dragging on the snow.

By this time, Chocola was glued to the she-cat, guiding her, not letting her go back to the confides of Fire-Tribe, just staying in the den and letting her thoughts and sadness fill her completely. No, she should get out of there and breath a little. Even when his family all left him, he didn’t stay in his old home to hope they would return or to drown in his emotions, he got out and found a better world out there. “You know… that… that big one…” he didn’t know the name… it was just that super big lake in the middle of everything.

She began to tremble, her anxiety taking over. Water.. Ice.. it all reminded her of.. Kato. She sniffled, trying her best to hold back the tears. Why was he forcing her out? All that she wanted to do was.. stay out of any other cat's way. She really didn't want.. to see anyone else. She wanted to be by her own self.. or with Kronk.. She didn't want to be out of Fire-Tribe... No.. No no no.. "Please.. leave me be. I can't.." she pleaded miserably as tears began to trickle down her whiskers, freezing before slipping off.. tho some did. She sniffled, closing her eyes tightly. "Take me anywhere you want, just not.. outside of Fire-Tribe. I'm not ready. I don't want to run into him.." she wept.

Him? Oh… Ohoh Now Chocola knew exactly what happened, something between her and her boyfriend, maybe ex by now. He couldn’t forget giving her a panic attack when he started his little mind games on her open relationship with her and Kato. He wouldn’t try it again though of course. He just sighed, “Okay okay, we won’t leave the territory… let’s go to Ember Hills, with all this snow, we won’t need our powers to go to the volcano, come on then,” he changed direction, not letting her stop to weep, not even giving her much comfort…he himself wasn’t even sure what he was trying to do but now that he did, he couldn’t just bring her back…

She silently turned her paws and was dragged to their next destination. She didn't want to remember.. she had been.. locking herself away to forget. It was really stupid.. after all, she did the very same thing to Yvaine before.. dating her, fooling around with her before leaving her. 'It was never meant to be serious..' “Hm?” Chocola mused as he heard her call his name for the first time… and when she asked him, he blinked in surprise… she remembered that little story did she? He closed his eyes, as though trying to remember… “I guess I never did?” he simply said, in truth it wasn’t an open relationship he was in. It was during the time he still travelled with his other siblings, along the way they picked up a pretty little she-cat. He and her fooled around a lot and he found himself falling for her… but he messed it up and she left… In truth, it was his fault. “I just don’t let it eat me… I have my health, my family and knowing they would always be there for me, I was able to live with it… only next time, if I find the perfect cat, I would never do anything to hurt her, make her sad and always let her know I love her with all my heart…” he mewed… that was the truth. His personality, it hurt cats, his siblings knew he never meant any harm, still, he couldn’t help it. He looked at Inky, “Does that help?”

She listened, wondering how bad his break up had been. Well.. considering how she was, maybe it was just as painful? Was he stronger because he was a male? She always thought that males were stronger, just because they weren't hormonal. Damon always acted on impulsion and angry.. despite him being saddened by Tacita's absence. For her.. she was trying to replace her mentor's warmth and company with other things.. Heh, without even noticing, the loss of her mentor brought the she-cat into that type of lifestyle of hers. You know. The physical affective lifestyle that she had~ She sighed, nodding with understanding. "You're braver than I thought-- I mean, I knew you were, but.. now I know that you are far more brave than I am.." she murmured, pressing her frame against his, her tail wrapped around his. "Maybe I should replace the sadness with other things. To just think about good things.. how I am still alive and unharmed and how my brother is till there.. I have so many friends.. Mmm.." she looked down, stopping as they reached the hills. That was.. where she had last spent her days with Tacita. Their last training.. her farewells. Now.. it didn't feel as.. bad as it once felt before. The snow was falling restlessly, covering the hills entirely. It almost looked like a different place. A white desert. It was cold.. mm.. "Hey, Cocoa, we should get warm. Let's built a hide out in one of those snow piles. I've done it before. You have to dig your way in, make a somewhat large enough space and stay there. The snow from come it. It's like a den.. made out of the snow! I called it, an IGLOO!" she beamed, her eyes still clouded.

Brave? No… he didn’t think he was all that brave, sometimes he would think he was just scum and a coward. It didn’t bother him too much when others said it, only when he himself admitted it. Still, he learned to not think about it, he grew up but still stayed the same… if that made any sense… He sighed, feeling Inky press against him now, her long, odd tail wrapped around his fluffy one. How the heck did her fur grow that way anyways? Did he lay on one side so much, the fur was blocked? “You should, replace it with family and friends, and in due time, you’ll move on too,” he mewed. That was all anyone needed really… time. Sometimes it takes a week, sometimes two months… but in time, your heart will heal, if it doesn’t… then that only meant you hadn’t met the person who can help you. “Oh I know, your brother taught it to me,” he grinned, glad to see she was trying at least, despite her emotions right now. He looked around for a good snow pile… he spotted one and bounded over to it, starting to dig..

At his words, Phoebe couldn't help but smile. What he had to say.. was really important. She felt herself be.. a little repaired now. Her heart swelled and she sighed, looking off to the side. Time. Hah, well.. that was what she was doing.. Even though it appeared like she was closing herself up and all, she was also giving her heart the time it needed to heal. And she wanted to be alone. She hated to show herself so sad and so weak to the others.. to those that were used to seeing her so lively, so happy. Her thoughts were brutally interrupted as a shower of snow exploded in front of her. She coughed, stepping to the side, shaking her head as she cleared the snow from her face and head. "Oh!" she watched, her eyes round as she saw the tom digging them a shelter. "He did? I don't remember ever seeing my brother digging in the snow before. He seems to always be complaining about how soft snow get locked in his pelt. Hehe," she giggled, watching attentively as the tom dug them an 'IGLOO'.

In Chocola’s sense, Phoebe did have her time to be alone and she would need more time to heal, but spending it with friends would certainly help her get back on her paws. He hated seeing her just waste away in the den… for various reasons. Pft. He dug! “What was that word you used?? Iggy something… why that word for the snow den??” it was a funny word too, he snickered in amusement. “Yeah, except he digs it into the ground rather than a snow pile..! He tried it out and it worked in keeping warm, its a bit harder for me to dig into the ground but into his pile is easier~” he mewed, half way into the snow cave now, scooping out snow more carefully so the ceiling wouldn’t collapse.. his paws were FREEZING!

She did notice how cold everything felt now. Now that they didn't have their powers to keep themselves warm, the weather felt harsher than ever. Phoebe lifted her head up, gazing at the ever ending blanket of clouds. Had she.. Really caused this? Though as the Tom spoke, Phoebe turned her attention to him. She giggled, looking down at the den he was creating for the both of them. "I dunno, I never tried digging in the dirt. I only do it on very soft soil or sand," she tilted her head, just now noticing the tom's movement slowing down. She chirped. "Want me to help? We can take turns till the burrow is large enough for the two of us."

"Oh no! Sorry, I meant he digs downwards into the snow, not actually into soil beneath the snow," Chocola purred with amusment. "And you didn't answer me," he nodded to her offer, stepping back and lifting his paws to rub against his chest in order to warm them. He never experienced winter like this but he had gone through two other winters already, this one being his third now, his birthday passing just before he entered the tribes. So he had been through it once alone and always without powers, so this one was no different... only, it was deeper and much colder. "What did you call this snow den?" he finished his earlier statment, grinning as a shiver crawled up his spine. "Ig-something,"

"Oh," she chuckled, of course. For a moment she imagined her brother turning into a mole and digging his way into the very centre of the earth. Oh but miles were ugly... The image popped as he meowed, blinking as he reminded her of his question. She knew he had asked for something, but she got carried away. She giggled. She was always so easily distracted-- but she was getting better at it! She wasn't as easily distracted as she was back then. She snorted.  She padded forge and began to dig deeper. She purposely threw the snow behind her like an explosion of white fuzz! And after a few kicks, she poked her head out, her eyes bright. "An Iglooo!!" She grinned, snow sparkling from her head and shoulders. "I think it'll be about done now, lemme just kick a little more out. Good thing you ain't as fat as my brother is," she teased, turning around and disappearing into the hole, snow exploding out once more until after a little while, the snow stopped, though Phoebe remained inside.

“Hey!” Chocola laughed as he scrambled out of the way! Shaking the snow off his lovely pelt and again rubbing his icy paws on his chest fur. Boy was it cold!! “An Iglooo?? Where did you even come up with such a word?” he chuckled, Phoebe covered in snow only made her more beautiful, with with her clouded eyes… it really was better to see the she-cat cheerful and full of life—heck, this was the first activity she had done since her withdrawal into her den. He had to shake snow off him again, pft! Oh boy~ There she went again, calling the big guy fat! Hah! When it finally stopped, he waited… but nothing. With a pout, he padded towards the igloo, “I’m coming in!” he announced before sticking his head inside~

As he entered the den made out of snow.. there was.. nothing. It was complete empty, though one of the walls looked a little lighter as though the layers of snow there were thinner, ready to give away if someone walk right into it or if tackled. Other than that, the den was empty. But before the tom could even process what was happening, a shadow loomed over him and behind him, stood Phoebe, her pelt covered in powdery snow. "What are you waiting for? Get in!" she suddenly chirped.

Chocola blinked in confusion… he could have sworn he saw the big she-cat walk in here… where was—FFFF! He jumped into the den, hitting the back wall lightly as he stared bewildered at snow covered Inky! “How did you get behind me, you were inside what the actual—h-heck!?” he fluffed up as his heart beat loudly in his chest! Jump scares don’t usually scare him but she was INSIDE! How the hell did she get out!? FFF —he shook his head.

She giggled, getting in slowly before sitting down and crouching low, her paws tucked underneath her lean frame. "You should have seen your face! That was priceless," she purred softly, blinking at the tom as he tried to make sense of the whole thing. Heh, it was cute. Might as well just tell him. "I was digging and the wall suddenly fell on me. So I dug myself out and appeared behind the den, the other direction. So I closed the opening I did by accident and padded around. I saw you entering and decided to come after you. That's what happened. Don't get too close of that wall there, the snow there isn't compact enough to maintain it position. We should be fine if we don't tackle it," she beamed.

Oh… Oh thankgod, he thought she did the unnatural and teleported or something. He sighed in relief, how rude! “I see…” he looked at the wall… “Pft, trying to scare me, you evil little thing!” he quickly slid to Phoebe’s side and wrapped his paws around her shoulders, pressing his head against her cheek and his tail wrapped around her lower frame. He tightly hugged her, “Take that!”

When he wrapped himself around her, Phoebe's heart swelled and she found herself purring loudly. What? He was teaching her by hugging her? What a nice way to get her back. She purred, vibrated, turned. She was so peaceful with the tom. She let her body tip to the side so that she would be resting on her back instead, her eyes closed, her paws in the air. "Oh no, you got me," she purred lovingly, sighing blissfully. Then... she reached up to his face, trying to wrap her paws around his head and pull him into her fluff! Her long silky hair displayed beside her form, curling on the snowy ground.

Yes! Chocola was teaching Ink by hugging her to death! But he guess that wasn’t all that successful… oh well~ She was warm and he was freezing! He purred loudly too, as long as Ink didn’t get weird on him, she was actually really sweet~ When she rolled to her back, he snickered, half his body laid over hers—he didn’t even see her paws coming and before he knew it, his face was buried in fluff!… he couldn’t resist tho, it was warm~ so nice and warm <3 “Ah,” he can say it now! “Your fur sure grew in a weird way you know, but it makes you even more beautiful,” he purred, he meant half it! Just like her fur heh.

"Hm?" she blinked open her eyes, looking down at him. Her fur? What was wrong with it? She looked to the side, seeing her long fur cheeks twirled on the ground beside her. Well, that wasn't really new, she noticed how long it was before. Why was it making her more beautiful all of the sudden. Well, it wasn't like Phoebe to not acknowledge a compliment given~ She purred, softening her gaze. "Thank you, Chocola. I really appreciate it.." she looked away, her eyes clouded. "Heh.. at least you noticed.."

Chocola’s ears lifted, looking upwards at Inky… “Of course~” he lifted his head enough to look down at the Cream girl, “…do you wanna talk about it Inky..?” he asked gently, grooming her neck fur in comfort.

She flipped to her side, letting the tom groom her as he pleased. The short hair was on top, the long underneath her. So the grooming was easy to do. She sighed. "I don't know.. I want to.. but I don't I can. It's just.. really hard to think about it," she closed her eyes, sniffling. "But I'm sure you guessed.. Kato left me.."

Chocola continued to groom her, in ways he would used to do for his siblings back then, it was always comforting..~ He listened to her quietly… he knew it must be one or the other… so when she finally revealed it, he bit back a ‘I knew it’ and instead stopped and stared… “He… actually left you…?” he sounded shocked… he had thought it to be the other way around… “He’s an idiot then, for a tom to make his girl cry, its unforgivable,” he huffed, then looked at her with soft blue eyes… “I guess I can only say from experience… but you will feel better in time, and knowing you with all your friends, it will be no time at all..~” he purred softly, pressing his nose into her soft fur..~

She really appreciated the reassuring words.. Chocola was such a sweetheart with her.. she sighed, saddened by his words. As reassuring and as good intentioned they were, it still pained her to hear them. Kato. She still loved him.. so so much. "I guess I understand the signification of a broken heart right now. I know how Yvaine felt. I know how Kato first felt.. and now I'm the one feeling it. I had no idea why it was hurting so much. Now I know.. I regret.. so many things now," she mewed, turning to lay her head down on the snow, her eyes glistening with tears. "Time will heal me.. I wish I could heal right now. Kato was the best boyfriend I ever had. He was so sweet.. I didn't care if he wasn't feminine enough, I still loved him--" and without realizing, the words blurted out of her mouth. Tears streaming down her face. "He was always so gentle, so sweet to me. He made me feel like I was the most important she-cat in his life. Everything felt like a dream, every time I was with him.. now. It's all just a nightmare. A nightmare I can't run away from. I wasn't able to heal his heart. I failed. I wasn't good enough.." She sniffled, covering her eyes with her paws. She felt her heart twist with pain. It was so painful. "Maybe it wasn't in his intention to fall in love with me. I was just a decoy. Something he could use to evade the real pain. And when he saw that I loved him, he left me.. because he stopped loving me. How can you stop loving someone?! It makes no sense.." she hissed, scratching at the snow agitatedly.

Signification of a broken heart… Chocola listened to her quietly, his head just hovered over his paws next to her. Taking in every word she mewed about this Kato person, this ginger cat with no eyes for what Phoebe was to him. He almost couldn’t believe that tom would have broken up with her, it was shocking alright! Ink was a catch despite being flirty! Though as she went on and on, he could really tell she was far from feeling better… He watched her as she went from crying to hissing… “I don’t know how someone can simply stop loving someone else, with no reason anyways…. I wasn’t around that long but even I know how much he meant to you, that much was obvious…” he mewed softly, “Maybe… he’s just broken inside… something that’s hard to fix or change…” he didn’t know Kato’s story with Yvaine or anything but his sudden actions interested him in stories he could make up. “Cats like those Inky… they usually never change…” he said, sitting up… he certainly never changed, or did he..?

She stopped from scratching, her paws aching with cold. And as she listened quietly, she pulled her frozen paws under her form, shrinking down as she tried to calm down. "I guess.." she murmured, staying silent for a long heartbeat.. even after he had stopped. What was she supposed to do now? She wanted to forget about him.. she wanted to move on and not feel hurt anymore. And to think.. that she had only preserved her body for that one tom cat.. without it being a serious relationship to begin with. And somehow.. she still felt tied to him. 'I was flirting.. but I kept myself for you in the end of the day. You'd always ask me if I was truly coming back to you and only you.. and I said yes. What else was I suppose to say?' she sighed, hanging her head down. Stupid selfish toms.. Stupid selfish Kato.

Chocola watched her… thinking what he would have done if he was her mate in that open relationship… though it was hard… he was such a jealous type, he wouldn’t be able to live with it, he would be way too paranoid… and just knowing his mate was flirting around, he would go crazy! But when Ink said nothing more except a sigh… he sighed too. Then he bumped her with his head, “Hey now, tell me how your brother was when he was a kit…” he asked, an attempt to distract her away from Kato, it was getting depressing…

She turned to look at the tom, her eyes empty. "....." She turned away. "My brother.." she murmured, sniffling as she quickly rubbed a paw over her eyes. "He's always been nice to me. I was a real pain and he sometimes would wiggle away from me. But he started liking me.. and now, we are inseparable. He means the world to me. If he wasn't around, I wouldn't be either. We are together forever.. no matter what. I know he'll always have my back and I know he'll always have me with him too. Nothing could ever destroy what we have. Chocola smiled as he rested his head on his paws… listening to Ink talk so fondly of Kronk, it warmed him. Their relationship was so close, so much closer than him and his siblings… Rogue was the one to stay with him the longest… if he didn’t want to leave their comfortable home, he would still be with her… he wondered where she was right now… “Me? Huh” when did Ink turn back to him!? Pft, “Psh of course~” he suddenly mewed without thinking… damn it, he always said stupid things when he doesn’t think first… “You know, my siblings would say I looked the most like my mother~” he added with a raise of his nose upwards, proud and everything~

Her eyes glinted with admiration. "I can see that. You must be one of the prettiest toms I've seen. Even prettier than Kato for sure. You have everything a she-cat desires.. a lean body, smooth and soft fur, a pretty face, lovely scent. You're really gorgeous," she purred, nodding slowly. "I don't know if.. I look more like my mother or father.. probably my mother. I saw my big brother Rossifur and he looks nothing like me. He must take after father then.. So that makes me just like mother. I just remember her lovely eyes. A very pale green like jade. She would hum songs to me.. me and my siblings. But the memories I have of her are so.. limited. It saddens me to only be able to remember my big brother, my brother Scruffy and well.. that's about it." She shrugged. "I don't mind. I love Scruffy more than anything." She smiled, laying her head down as she purposely placed it over the tom's paws. "Tell me more..~"

Chocola purred—though he wasn’t sure if he should be proud he looks like a gorgeous she-cat…but really, he didn’t care~ He was proud to look like his Mum~ “Heh~ I don’t know if a she-cat would desire someone like me but hey! Thanks for the compliments~” was Ink feeding his ego? It might just be working… its not everyday someone would compliment him so thoroughly..~ “I see… well I’m sure you do look like her..~ I know Shade told me he didn’t resemble any of his family~” he watched as Ink placed her head on his paws… making him just slightly more tense… Inky was beautiful and she knew exactly how to use it… his gaze softened… “Well… I guess you don’t know much about me..” he mewed and he knew a lot about Inky already, both her and brother liked mentioning each other, “You sure you wanna listen to my story? Its kinda boring~” he was just stalling it on purpose~

"Boring?" she echoed, blinking before snuggling closer to him. "I don't think you're boring. Don't be so modest~" she giggled, smiling. "Tell me, I want to know. I see you've grown closer to my brother. I mean, if I hadn't got the approval of my brother wanting to soulbond with me, I'd be super jealous of you. You could make a very good soulbond for him-- sorry that I stole that spot from you," she winked, giggling softly.

Chocola snickered, he supposed he could tell Inky too, about his past. Shade knew bits of it anyways. “Eh? What’s a Soulbond?” He still didn’t know much about these powers and traditions, soulbond sounds.. weird though. “Okay I will tell you~” he mewed and snuggled closer to her as well, mostly burying himself in her warmth.

“It was many seasons ago, about three cycles of rains and snow.” he started, “My mother and father were once part of two …tribes of cats,” he used Tribe since it seemed easier to explain than  groups or clans. “They were in different tribes and the tribes hated one another, they often engaged in fights but my Mother and Father fell in love and had us in secret. But of course a big secret like us couldn’t be kept hidden forever so the two tribes came together to kill us… we lost our father that day when he helped us all escape..” he sighed… in truth, he couldn’t remember that time, only the stories they repeated over and over so they wouldn’t forget. “It was just me, my three other siblings and my mother, we travelled since then, never stopping for long… that was until my Mum passed away…” he frowned.. but just slightly, the past didn’t effect him as deeply as it once did. “Then me and my brothers and sisters settled down but they were not content, one by one they left to continue travelling, we did it our whole life… they just couldn’t quite stop and settle down… my sister Rogue was the last to leave my side… I liked living there so I didn’t go with her… sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I went…” he looked down at the pretty little she-cat. “I left of course, it was boring and lonely living alone, I met a bunch of cats on my travels, dogs and other animals.. heh but after so many seasons, I bumped into this place~”

Chocola's story was quite sad. Her ears swivelled as she listened to him, making sure to register everything he was saying. To lose both of his parents.. she wondered how it felt to know that your parents were dead. Not that she wanted to know.. but.. she wondered, would she be affected by her parents' death if they ever did die? Or.. would she not care? After all, they were so far away.. far away from Nandryx. It's not like their death would really be direct consequence for them. It would only really matter if they had any connection, but Rossifur was really the only connection they had. And even then, he wouldn't even show up most of the time. They had only seen once after moving.. when would be the next encounter? Was he ever going to show up? She looked up at Chocola.. and offered him a reassuring smile. "So sorry to hear about your parents.. I'm sure your siblings are fine. They probably got to visit a lot of places. I know the world can be dangerous, but it's not entirely deadly," she lifted her head, licking the tom's cheek. "It's always nice to remember them by. Don't forget, even if you don't get to see them as often. Memories fill our hearts with glee~" she purred.

Chocola smiled, he was really okay now… everything that happened, it had been so long ago… he sometimes wondered what his siblings were doing now, but he wasn’t lonely anymore. He had Inky and Shade and other cats he’s starting to befriend too~ Some he knew he would have a lot of fun with later. He was grinning at the thought. “Yeah I know…~ I visited a lot of places too, the world is a pretty big place,” he yawned… he was getting sleeply, “I won’t..~ if there’s one thing, is that I will always remember…” he forced his head under Ink’s chin and purred deeply~

She smiled warmly, grooming the tom's head reassuringly and affectionately as he pressed it under her chin. What a cutie. And as she stroked him with her rough tongue, the she-cat remembered when they talked. Yea.. when she had that panic attack. She never.. thanked him for what he did. If it hadn't been for him, she would have never realized Kato's feelings and motives. She would still be dating him blindly. "Hey.." she murmured. "Thanks for making me realize my mistake. I thought everything was going to be just fine.. but you brought me back on earth. I wasn't being realistic. I know the truth now and.. I'm glad I was able to find out. So.. for that, I want to thank you. You were the right cat to ask those questions. You were in an open relationship before too, so.. you know how painful it can be when the other cat doesn't like you back." She smiled, grooming him still.

Chocola was purring softly against her grooming, he content, happy even and so warm and relaxed..~ He didn’t even to leave the Igloo, going back into the harsh winter… he could every well just lay and sleep here..~ He listened to her with his eyes closed… “Ah it’s really no problem… I only said what I did from my experience…” he mewed softly, he didn’t want to think too much about that… it only reminded him of bad things… he purred loudly~ Starting to drift off…

Phoebe kept licking him, enjoying the closeness between the two. When was the last time she had ever been this close with a stranger?-- Not that Chocola was. But she normally would only show such compassion towards her brother, her close friends and.. well Kato. She sighed, burying her nose into his silky fur. He really did smell nice. So very nice. "I miss this.. I miss this kind of closeness.. It feels like forever since I.. cuddled someone like this," she murmured, mostly to herself but it was loud enough for the tom to hear.

Chocola’s ears twitched to indicate that he was awake enough to hear her speak… “Yeah…~” he mewed softly, “Usually cats don’t like to cuddle up to someone…so this is nice…” he murmured softly, kind of wishing she would continue but he was content nonetheless..~ He was naturally affectionate, finding it normal to rub against someone but others don’t usually like a touchy cat… he knew from his travels, unless you’re family or mates, then don’t sleep against me. Sigh, and winter can be so harsh alone…

"Oh! By the way," she purred loudly. "Soulbond is when you link your powers with someone else. Well.. we don't have tattoos anymore.. but it was something you could be able to do when you reached your full maturity. You could easily soulbond with a friend, family member or even someone you like! The only thing you really need in order to soulbond is a very close friendship. But, when you do, you can't have kittens together. So, it's better done with someone you are SURE not to fall in love with. Or else, you won't be able to have babies," she frowned, feeling a tad bit sad for Garu.. "When you soulbond, you two become linked forever. Until death. To me, it's like a proof of a strong and true friendship."

So that was what Soulbond was… then it was good Shade found his in his sister. Chocola though… the though of binding yourself to someone else like that… it was too much for him… he had his secrets and thoughts he would much rather keep to himself, no… he would never bind his soul to some other cat, no matter how close he was to them. “That sounds cool~” he mewed, “It means you trust your bother that much and he does too, I can tell..~” he purred softly, still… he could never do it… maybe with his sister sure, but otherwise no… not unless they know him more than himself. “I hope the powers return soon… then you and your brother can Soulbond…~” he was getting sleepy… his voice more direct as another yawn escaped him…~

She purred happily, rocking her shoulders happily as she glanced down at the tom. He wasn't even opening his eyes. Was he sleepy? She looked around slowly. It was still cold out and the den was made out of snow.. was he drifting out from the cold? Or was he that peaceful with her? She felt her heart beat a little louder. Mm.. Oh.. how much she would love to be a little closer. Maybe.. She blushed. Nah.. a cat like him wouldn't want to be with her. He was just too gorgeous.. she.. was never able to attract a tom this good looking before. Sure, Link was cute, but.. not to her taste entirely. All of the toms she had met with her full taste were either already taken, gay or just.. not interested. Aoba, Darius, Baldr.. None of them liked her. Not even interested. It made her pout a little. It was nice to get a few compliments from toms, Drake, Kato, Linken, even Garu.. but all of them.. they were.. okay but not fabulous. No.. She looked down at Chocola, her heart skipping a beat again. Oh. How cute he was. "Uhm.." she began, growing hot under her fur. No.. she couldn't.. he wouldn't... Hmmm... damn.. she was already getting heated up. "Uhm.." she murmured again.
